ARTISTS STATEMENT
I first Shot Myself to get my sluggish mind ruminating on when 'the nuddy' becomes porn, when porn becomes art and when art becomes objectification. A rather public experiment in politico-ethical development, one might say. (Will keep you posted on thesis.) Almost ten years later, there had still been no hard/fast conclusions, ergo... And well, life in the sunless Isles is enough to drive anyone to Vitamin-D deprived acts of compulsive nudity.

Books I like: " " too hard! Anything by Alexander Solzhenitsyn, Salinger and (let's run with the S's then) Salman Rushie.
Films I like: Not another one! Okay: the Before Sunrise trilogy. Foreign/independent, esp. Iranian films (a lot of them), documentary, Steve McQueen. Early Woody Allen (despite his dubious personal qualities)
