ARTISTS STATEMENT

I like being naked, whether alone or around other people. The only reason I don't do it more often is because I think it makes people nervous, and it's illegal. It was fun to explore taking sexy and not so sexy shots of myself, to explore my body through poetry written on my body, and to play with paints. I had a lot of fun by myself doing this, it's always nice to find yourself having fun alone, because so often we are more inclined to laugh and be silly with others. Here is the poem I wrote on my body, in my folio: When we're sleeping, My body calls to your body. I can hear her whispering, Cooing, teasing in the night. She thinks no one is listening, while my head buries deep into feathery pillows, an undulating landscape of mountainous dreams and blankets. My body flowers, Busy in the early cool, She sends tiny messengers on scented errants, to climb the snoring wilderness of you. Once there they deliver equally tiny letters, Describing in horny detail, the savage wills of my unconscious, sleeping, heart. My body is scheming, She knows someone is listening, And as the nighttime bud blooms to kiss the moon, she is victorious. You turn to me, Awake with wanting.

my website/fav website: I very rarely search the web for anything, or spend large amounts of time online.
Most outrageous thing I have done: Vipassana in Japan in winter.
Bands I like: Olafur Arnalds, anything dreamy or different, I listen to PBS more than anything else!
Books I like: Can we make this authors? Bukowski, Pablo Neruda, Markus Zusak (this week).
Films I like: Pan's Labyrinth, The Skin I Live In.
