ARTISTS STATEMENT

The reason why I took part in 'I shot myself' was that I wanted to show my whole personality in a few pictures. How I present myself is playing and acting, but in between all posing you can find who I really am. I do not consider myself exhibitionistic, not more than anybody else. But lying at the beach, naked and free and shooting photos when everybody could see was good fun! Independent from people telling me how I have to be. I had the freedom to do and photograph what I myself wanted and wanted to express!
