"I shot this folio at home on a Friday when no one was there. I posed in front of my own artworks which I think made some of the best shots. It started raining halfway through the shoot and the house got really dark so I had to wait to do the second half. I was very nervous to start this off, but it did feel very freeing once I released my fear of what my body would look like. I love the idea of playing and being myself rather than having to prove my worth through achievements. It feels very feminine to me."

"I felt quite calm and relaxed while taking these photos. It was cloudy outside and I am very dependent on the weather, but this photo session cheered me up a little. I photographed myself at home, I live alone and it was comfortable for me to walk naked around the apartment and take pictures. The only thing I sometimes feel embarrassed is when my cat sees me naked. I love my body and love to look at it so it was a pleasure for me. This photo session reminded me how beautiful I am even without makeup and filters. Thank you for this opportunity!"

"I found this second shoot a bit more challenging than my first - I couldn't use my room, so I had to wait for my housemates to leave before I could take pictures. Despite uni and work keeping me very busy, I didn't see shooting these pictures as a chore. It's a nice creative release using a medium I don't experiment with much - photography - and the extra challenge of finding new locations and poses added to the experience the second time round. My housemate's cat Elliot was a little more camera shy than I was hoping he'd be, but hopefully he makes the final cut because he's a real cutie!"

"After 6 months of searching, I found a mirror! I immediately knew that I wanted to take a lot of selfies with it, but what to do with these photos? I decided that I would take these photos for I Shot Myself. I took brushes, paints and my still unfinished painting and began to create. Sunlight and watercolor perfectly complemented my photographs. I could do it all day long, but unfortunately it's winter in my country and the sun goes down so fast. I was lucky and after a few days the weather improved and I was able to continue to create! But this time my friends were at home, and I started taking selfies in their presence. I was not embarrassed, I felt free and liberated. I think that our friendship after that moved to a new level."

"I shot these images while house-sitting for a friend, in three different stages, and realising I could be so comfortable in someone else's space was marvelous. I was listening to a playlist I created of songs that make me want to burst out of my skin and run, or weep, or shout, all things that made me feel strong emotions and I felt that course through me and give my soul power and fortification. I realised during the shoot that I had more love for myself than I thought, and for my art and creativity."

"Before I started, I sat in meditation to set my intention to express myself with integrity and come from my heart. To stay in alignment with being a pure fairy/fire energy and to allow that to be witnessed through these photos. One thing I didn't expect, was by the time I was halfway through the shoot, I realised half of my body was covered in little mosquito bites from being outside at that particular time! But straight away kept taking photos recognising that this is what it's like to be a real human taking photos in the bush haha. Once I finished, I gave myself a big hug and smiled to myself, feeling so empowered and loving my body and who I am as a human."

"Este folio de ISM se realizó durante mi época favorita del año: el final del verano. El clima durante esos días fue perfecto, todavía agradable para ir a la playa y al río, y tomar el sol. Traté de mostrar ese momento en mis fotos, incluyendo elementos naturales que me conectan con esos lugares, y que suelo usar también como decoración en mi casa: como flores, plantas, conchas marinas. Además, fue bastante divertido buscar los ángulos donde puedo estar desnuda sin que mis vecinos se den cuenta. No estoy seguro si logré eso, pero nadie se quejó jajaja. / This ISM folio was made during my favourite part of the year: the end of the summer. The weather during those days was perfect, still nice to go to the beach and the river, and to sunbathe. I tried to show that moment in my photos, including natural elements that connect me with those places, and that I usually use as decoration in my house too: like flowers, plants, seashells. Also, it was quite funny to search for the angles where I can be naked without my neighbours noticing it. Not sure if I achieved that but no one complained hahaha."

"I was constantly trying to chase the sunlight streaming through the window, on some overcast days I shot myself in my bedroom. Which is funnily facing the main road, for bypasses to potentially catch me in action on a weekday nude twisting and contouring my body in all sorts of ways. As I started to get in the flow I actually found myself really enjoying the process, feeling sexy and appreciating my body in a new way. Honouring my pussy by giving her some show time. I felt turned on at times by the erotic nature of being nude and the potential of being seen. It felt liberating to do something that also brings out my creativity and confidence."

"I had so much fun with my first I Shot Myself shoot, I just had to do another. This time I was at my home, feeling incredibly fun and flirty. Being in my own space made me feel comfortable enough to explore and discover new angles to photograph, and I really had fun with playing around with myself. I get amazing lighting in my room from the sun which always makes me feel like I'm being kissed all over my body from the light, this helped me feel even sexier than usual which I absolutely adored. The feeling of the sun and my soft blanket was so sensual I just had to play with myself, and take photos of that too!"

"This is my first time photographing nudes, it was an interesting experience for me, I became more open and liberated. At first I was worried that the neighbors would see me through the open curtains, but with each new photo I became more and more indifferent to what they thought. I felt how my soul was filled with love for myself, I felt how beautiful my body is and how much I love it. I got high from the emotions that I evoked in myself I felt that I can be different, both a delicate flower and a daring cat. I am happy that I went through this experience, it was sensual, interesting, fun and unforgettable."

"I started shooting in my room, then made my way to the lounge and then the garden where I ended up getting eaten by the sun and chewed by little bugs. During the shoot I was so concerned with getting the best lighting that I kept forgetting to tell my three male housemates that I would be running around the house in the nude hehe. One very unexpected thing that happened during my shoot was when I saw a figure outside my window that turned out to be a guy wondering where the health clinic was (which is next door). Luckily, I had a dress close by and popped that on and asked him if I looked like a doctor. After the shoot I felt very energetic and ended up having a great play with myself outside."

"I took these pictures in my friend's apartment (mine is almost in a basement and there is no light at all) and we spent really quality time together. I had mixed feelings about my body at the beginning, but after I got used to it, I realised that I can find beauty in something less obvious and it was quite enjoyable. I realised how many nice features and textures my body has, how soft and stretched it is. I drank a lot of peach tea and found all the weird postions in which I can put myself. It was a nice experience, also challenging at times, but it was worth it."

"This is my second ISM shoot. I loved the feeling of being in front of the camera and not feeling judged for my rolls that I would usually hide, and absolutely loved how I felt in my first shoot so I've decided to do another. This one will incorporate a few more colourful items and more things on the nature side. I'll be including plants and natural elements like fire and water. Mostly I just wanted to do another shoot in the hopes that somebody with my body type sees it and isn't afraid to be a bit more expressive in their day to day life and maybe even shoot their own project one day."

"I made this folio over a whole week in different places. The first place was by the river and in the village where I used to live, I wanted to take a photo there the most, because I really miss this place. We were with a friend and fooled around a lot. A couple of times I had to get dressed very quickly, because people found us. Then I took pictures at a friend's house, it was very hot. And the last place was the villa where I worked as a cook. I arrived at work early in the morning and everyone was asleep, it was time to take pictures and cool off in the pool. It's a folio with a summer vacation vibe and I love it."

"It was a great adventure for me to take part in this project. I decided to shoot as soon as I could, but as I don't live alone, I had to do this shoot at my friend's apartment, also I just really like her home's retro style so much. I was taking pics while I had a day off, full of excitement and anticipation. Everything went smoothly except the moment when my friend came home earlier than planned, but I was already finishing. The most important thing about the shoot is my increased self-esteem and goosebumps all over the body. Thank you for this opportunity."
