ARTISTS STATEMENT

This is my first attempt in posting for nude photos, this challenge allowed me to enter into greater communion with my body; it pushed me to observe it, to play with it and also to appreciate it. I suffer from an acute form of dermatitis and in photographing myself I felt I deserved to be appreciated for who I am in all my particularities. I think it's important to remember that when we look at our body we don't necessarily have to think it's beautiful, but remembering that it deserves respect, that it allows us to live our lives, we must love our body.
