ARTISTS STATEMENT

To me, life is expression. Ishotmyself gave an opportunity for me to be creative in the way I wanted to showcase my body nude. It lets you represent yourself in a more free bound way. Sometimes with other projects, the vision is totally different and specific, it may be something that one can enjoy doing, but it may not align with one's own vision of portraying themselves. I felt ishotmyself allows that kind of expression that naturally comes from your own mind. It became a very playful experience! On the other hand, nudity is a very controversial subject around the world and it differs from country to country. I only wish that we lived in a world where we are more accepting towards the naked body instead of shunning it.
